Lead Surveying Engineer

Job description 

• Conduct detailed surveys, investigations, and site analyses during the initial stages of projects;
• Plan field surveying and office processing activities, apply relevant regulatory documents, and ensure compliance with their requirements;
• Monitor the surveying services provided by contractors and subcontractors, including maintaining fieldwork logs, conducting timely and accurate as-built surveys, carrying out as-built surveys of underground utilities in open trenches, preparing and maintaining surveying as-built documentation, and submitting it to relevant authorities;
• Participate in the execution of complex surveying works;
• Selectively supervise the work of assigned personnel during construction and installation works, report identified deficiencies to the designer, management, and other technical personnel, and ensure that such deficiencies are recorded in the construction log;
• Participate in the handover of completed construction projects;
• Organize and coordinate the work of assigned support personnel;
• Ensure the preparation of required reports;
• Work as part of a team and maintain close cooperation with all parties involved in the design and project implementation processes;
• Provide technical support during the project tender process in matters related to surveying, review specifications and work quantities, and provide relevant technical assessments.
