Assistant Geodetic Engineer

Job description

• Establish the Geodetic Reference Network and hand it over to the contractor on-site with an official act;
• Monitor and manage the geodetic services provided by contractors and subcontractors;
• Supervise the execution of geodetic works (maintaining fieldwork journals, ensuring timely and high-quality as-built surveys, conducting as-built surveys of underground utilities in open trenches, preparing, storing, and submitting geodetic documentation to relevant authorities);
• Perform random inspections of assigned personnel during construction and installation works, report identified deficiencies to the designer, management, and other technical staff, and ensure proper records are made in the construction logbook;
• Receive drawings and technical documents from the designer or design team, verify potential geometric measurement errors, and prepare layout plans and drawings;
• Participate in the handover process of completed construction projects;
• Ensure preparation of necessary reports;
• Maintain close cooperation with all parties involved in the design and production processes;
• Perform other similar tasks assigned by the management.

Qualifications

• Education: Higher education in Geodetic Engineering;
• Work experience: At least 3 months of experience in the relevant field;
• Computer skills: MS Office, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D;
• Language skills: Azerbaijani – fluent;
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to continuous development.
