Leading Planning Engineer
Job description

Prepare and update the project schedule based on the contract;

Define the work schedule and target milestones for each phase in line with the project plan;

Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule;

Track weekly work progress and prepare weekly/monthly reports;

Provide project managers and commercial managers with updates on the current status;

Prepare weekly/monthly reports reflecting the current situation;
-
Report to the project manager on current progress, compare planned and actual progress, and analyze the impact of alternative approaches;

Participate in site meetings and discussions;

Prepare the work schedule, S-curve, and manpower movement histogram for tenders;
-
Verify the accuracy of reports received from the site;
-
Update work schedules weekly based on weekly reports received from sites;

Conduct site visits to monitor whether the work completed aligns with the submitted reports;

Prepare reports on site visits;
-
Prepare biweekly reports and present them to the project team;
-
Update development status weekly during the design phase;
- Manage the distribution and planning of the company’s manpower resources across projects;
- Evaluate the status of tender projects based on information received from the Procurement Department;
- Jointly define manpower resources with the project manager according to the master schedule;
- Prepare productivity and manpower analyses, and develop resource and time allocation tables for upcoming work;
- Report directly to the line and functional manager on results and potential impacts;
- Perform other similar tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Education: Higher education in Engineering;
- Work experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant field;
- Language skills: Azerbaijani – fluent, English – good;
- Computer skills: MS Office, Primavera P6, MS Project.
