Job description
- Participate in inspections, engineering surveys, and planning activities related to the preparation phase of projects to be implemented, as well as in the development of methodologies and execution methods; prepare the required documentation and provide the necessary data for compiling relevant reports;
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of the documentation required to commence construction; when necessary, request corrective actions and ensure they are implemented under supervision;
- Oversee the organization of preparatory activities for works to be carried out at construction sites, as well as the execution and scheduling of such preparatory works;
- Supervise construction activities on-site, participate in the partial and final acceptance of works, and in the handover of completed buildings/structures;
- Monitor compliance with construction project plans and work schedules, ensuring that construction, installation, repair, restoration, and reconstruction activities meet the required scope, deadlines, and quality standards;
- Ensure that materials, equipment, and structures used and installed comply with approved design and cost estimate documentation, working drawings, standards, and regulations;
- Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the required technological sequence, execution methods, and the requirements of design and regulatory documents;
- Prepare the documentation required in accordance with urban planning and construction regulations;
- Ensure the preparation of documents required from other parties for the supervised construction sites;
- Ensure that identified defects are eliminated and that appropriate corrective measures are taken;
- Investigate the causes of delays and quality issues in executed works and implement preventive measures;
- Maintain records of completed works and provide data for the preparation of relevant reports;
- Perform duties in a timely and accurate manner, demonstrate initiative, and continuously improve professional qualifications;
- Strictly comply with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and other норматив legal acts;
- Ensure full compliance with applicable local and international standards within the company;
- Use the company’s and directly owned energy resources efficiently and report any cases that may lead to unnecessary energy losses;
- Perform other similar tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Higher education in Civil Engineering;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant field;
- Language skills: Azerbaijani – fluent, English – preferred;
- Computer skills: MS Office, AutoCAD;
- Knowledge of construction standards and regulations;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
