Job description
- Receive and analyze design information, and submit a report to management with recommendations on the alignment of mechanical systems with needs and objectives;
- Verify the information of mechanical systems in the design phase for compliance with technical requirements and environmental considerations, and guide the designers to meet these requirements;
- Ensure that the information of mechanical systems in the design phase is prepared in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, urban planning and construction normative documents, as well as predefined international standards;
- Act as a team member and collaborate closely with all parties involved in the design process;
- Provide technical support during the project's tender process, verify the specifications and work volumes of mechanical systems, and provide relevant technical feedback;
- If required, provide expert opinions on technical documents related to mechanics during all project phases, perform analysis, and offer suggestions for optimizing the budget and costs;
- Ensure the preparation, distribution, storage, approval, archiving, and exchange of mechanical-related documents in the design phase according to the company’s relevant procedures;
- Maintain an up-to-date database for the sales prices of equipment and materials from manufacturers;
- Perform other tasks assigned by the manager.
Essential duties & responsibilities
Qualifications
- Higher education: Higher education in the field of Mechanical Engineering;
- Work experience: At least 7-8 years of experience in the relevant field;
- Knowledge of construction normative documents: AzDTN, EN, SNIP, ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA;
- Language skills: Azerbaijani - fluent; English - good;
- Computer skills: MS Office, AutoCAD;
- High communication skills and ability to work in a team, with a focus on continuous development.
