PMD Projects hosted a Chess Tournament for employees, bringing together colleagues for an engaging competition focused on strategy, logic and healthy rivalry. The tournament took place on 19 December and gave participants an opportunity to test their skills while competing against their colleagues.
Held under the Swiss-system format, the tournament featured several rounds, with participants facing different opponents throughout the competition. The games were marked by challenging and engaging matches, with every move playing a role in determining the final results.
At the end of the tournament, Aydin Sharifov, Lead Financial Controller, took first place, followed by Adil Vilayat-zade, Senior Construction Cost Controller, in second place and Rasul Mammadov, Assistant Electrical Engineer, in third place.
The tournament provided another opportunity for employees to spend their time together in a different setting, challenge their intellectual skills and connect with colleagues through a shared interest.
