Job description
- Organizing and managing the process of preparing estimated budgets and cost plans for projects;
- Organizing and supervising the preparation and control of project work schedules;
- Managing value during the design and construction phases (Value Management);
- Controlling changes throughout all stages of the projects;
- Organizing the value engineering process during the design and construction phases when required;
- Organizing the preparation of tender and procurement packages in line with the project strategy and being responsible for their implementation;
- Managing and supervising the contract preparation process up to the signing stage;
- Ensuring control and administration of contracts after signing (Contract Administration);
- Managing and controlling contract payment schedules;
- Managing and controlling changes to signed contracts (post-contract stage change management and control);
- Managing and supervising the preparation of project financial flow reports (Initial Cash Flow Management);
- Analyzing claims, identifying their root causes, and presenting reports to management;
- Preparing interim cost reports for projects (Interim Cost Reports);
- Conducting periodic analysis of projects’ earned value (Earned Value Analysis);
- Organizing contractors’ preliminary and final handover processes within the project scope (Practical & Final Completion Certificates);
- Ensuring the commercial success of projects;
- Preparing the Final Cost and Savings Report for projects and submitting it to the Project Manager.
Essential duties & responsibilities
Qualifications
- Higher education in a relevant field;
- At least 4 years of work experience in a similar position within the civil construction sector;
- Language skills: Azerbaijani – fluent, English – good;
- Computer skills: MS Office programs, AutoCAD;
- Ability to work in a team and strong collaboration skills.
